The first of two  GERMAN language and cultural training courses was completed last week by ULSTER LANGUAGE SERVICES.

CITB-Construction Skills NI has given a group of 15 local construction workers the opportunity to train in GERMANY through the ‘Building Skills for Sustainable Construction’ project funded by the European Commission LEONARDO Mobility Programme.

ULSTER LANGUAGE SERVICES provided GERMAN tuition to this first group before their departure for Biberach (Germany), where they will attend a 2-week training course to widen their knowledge of sustainable construction methods, renewable energy and environmental standards. A second group will participate in the Autumn.
